Today is an awesome day to realize that "Time Is of the Essence!" Today is the day to work to improve your work environment! Are there areas in your job environment that can be improved? Are there ways that "you" know of that can improve the work environment? Are there things that can be done to make everyone enjoy the work environment more, get the job done more efficiently? "Go On Make Your Manager's Day!!!"

Today is a great day to be nice to your manager! I was a Nursing Supervisor years ago and i used to pray for someone to be nice to me! I would say to myself, "Someone, anyone make my day please! Here a simple and easy concept. "Be nice to your manger and he/she will be nice to you!" You know that old statement, "Garbage in garbage out! "You should take the time to sow positive wonderful things into your manager's life so that you will reap positive wonderful things in your life!
Let's face it, life truly awesome, but very short so we should not waste time trying to make our managers miserable. Is it worth it? Of course it isn't.
Therefore,do something really nice for your manager! Go on make their day! I know your manger will appreciate any effort to brighten his/her day! :-) !!!

"Smell The Roses!!!"

I admonish you to smell the roses at work! I admonish you to take the time out of your busy day to take the time to smell the roses. There is so much going on at work, so much drama and it would give your mind a break and something to do that is really fun! Smelling the roses of life will give you so much more! Smelling the roses of life means to enjoy with all of your heart, body, mind and soul this beautiful life that God has given you! Here's a well-kept secret...You can enjoy your life even when you are at work! Why should anyone be miserable at work? Misery begats misery! Therefore do not be miserable unless you want to see more misery!!!
Smell the roses at work! Let everyone know that you are there to have a good time, but stay within the confines your job-descriptions! Also let everyone know it is okay to enjoy yourself in the workplace! Life is too short! Do something that will make you and your co-workers happy!
Smell the roses and give one rose to your least favorite person. She may surprise and astound you! You may be bridging a chasm. Ask her/him to savor, smell and enjoy the rose...and then watch the magic of the God Created Rose!

Today is a day of celebration of the life of an awesome man, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Dr. King's accomplishments, honors and accolades are phenomenal! We are so blessed because Dr. King graced our lives! Dr. King also had a dream...
I have a dream that people in the workplace will treat each other with honor and respect! I have a dream that people will do their best job while they are at work and they will work as unto the Lord! I have a dream that peole will look at the man/woman in the mirror and make the world a better place by improving their own behavior. I have a dream that people will help each other in the workplace and they will realize that they have to share because there is enough good to go around in the workplace...trust me!
I have a dream that the work environment will be a place where people want to go. Since people spend a great deal of there time in the workplace, they may as well make the best of this situation! My dream is for people to realize that time spent in the workplace is special and they will never get that time back! Work with me pople treasure, savor, love,enjoy the time you spend at work...because once it is gone...it is gone!

May the "Force" be with you as you endeavor to work with your co-workers in harmony! Let's face it you really need to be prayed up when you walk into your work environment! Always make sure that you pray for a blanket of protection so that you will be able to deal with any and everything that comes your way!
So many times when you are in the work environment, things happen and you don't have any control over the situation except to react as Jesus would act! I admonish you to pay it forward at work! It is so important to do something nice for your co-workers! Always think of ways that you can help others! When you bless others so many times the blessings are returned to you!

So do something really nice for several co-workers and watch their faces light up and then stand back! Wait for it!....Wait for it! Wait for God to show up! When He shows up...He shows out!!!

"Salute The Lovable Scarecrow!" "Brain Power Rocks!"

The Scarecrow in the "Wizard of Oz" and The Wiz is my favorite character! There are many reasons why I love this character but the main reason is because the the Scarecrow always understood the importance of brain power!
I admonish you to use your "brain power @ work! Always be helpful to others in the work environment. Always assist your co-workers! There are enough accolades to go around and even if you do not get any credit for helping others...Remember it really feels awesome to do something for others! Just remember you may be the next person who needs someone to assist you!
Use your brain power to be nice to others! How difficult is it to be nice to your co-workers? Trust me if it is difficult for you get along with your co-workers then the problem may be you! Give yourself an attitude adjustment to improve the work situation! Be nice..play fair!!!
Use your brain power to take the "High Road!" If a co-worker is getting on your last baby nerve then stop allowing them to get on your last baby nerve! Stop giving them the power to hurt you! Only you can give away this power! Do not allow your co-workers to steal your joy!
Use your brain power to improve your work environment! Pray, talk to God about your work environment! Use your brain power, then salute the Scarecrow because "Brain Power Rocks especially in the workplace!

Have you ever been at work and nothing was going the right way? Have you ever been at work and Murphy's Law was in control? You know good old Murphy's Law...everything that can go wrong does go wrong! Have you ever been at work and it appeared that you were surrounded by drama?

Once again the message is clear...It's Not About You!" It certainly isn't about you in the work place! Although many people think it is! It truly is about everyone in the work environment collectively, not individually!
It is about working together for the common good! It is about making sure the work goals are accomplished. It is about getting along with your co-workers. It is definitely about making sure that everyone knows that there is no "I" in the word "team!"
Come on work with me people! We all know we need each other to survive in the work place! At work you will find a group of symbiotic relationships! What an awesome easy concept? Why can't we all get it?

"Leave Your Baggage Outside The Door Of Your Workplace II!"

If you are still having problems outside of your job, I admonish you to leave those problems outside of your job! Do everyone a big favor and then adjust your attitude before you enter your job! Pray before you enter your job that God will not allow your issues to distract you from your work and getting along with your co-workers! It's not their fault that you are in a very bad mood!!!Give them a break! Cut them some slack! Misery does not love company...especially in the workplace!!!
Do not bring your drama into the workplace! The workplace has enough drama!!! Keep your drama out of the workplace!!! You don't even like your drama...or do you? Anyway the workplace is no place for personal drama and if you do not like your drama what makes you think other people will?
Your co-workers are also experiencing drama in their lives! Do you want to hear details about their issues (drama)? Of course not!
Leave your baggage outside of your job! Take a break from your issues and your drama at work! After you complete your work, go home and solve your problems!!! Do not allow your bad moods to cause negativity in the work place! Who want to work in a negative work environment when you can work in a positive work environment?
I admonish yoy to leave your baggage outside of the door your job and make the workplace a better place for everyone!!!

"Be Like The Scarecrow at Work...Use Your Brains!"

I admonish you to be like the Scarecrow and use your brains all the time but especially when you are at work! Be aware of your surroundings! Be attentive to your co-workers and notice what is going on! When opportunities arise and a co-worker needs help, be there for them! And one day when you least expect it, your co-workers will be there for you!
It is absolutely time to think about improving your work environment. If you can think about ways to improve your job then talk to the powers that be and make those changes! It will truly benefit you and everyone to think your way through improving your work environment! It will truly be a win-win situation!

"PRAY!" "Put On Your Spiritual Armour At Work !"

Believe it or not one of the most successful ways of working well with people on the job is to pray at work and pray without ceasing! You have to remember that we truly do not wrestle against flesh and blood in the workplace and in life! Yes, my friends, God said it best in Ephesians 6:12 "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, the rulers of darkness, of this world against spiritual wickedness in high places." Therefore, we must all wear our spiritual armour in the workplace.
Just to let you know this spiritual armour includes (for your own protection),the shoes are preparation of peace, the shield of faith, the breastplate of righteousness,the helmet of Salvation and when you are wearing this armour you are ready for the battle against the enemy! The enemy does not want us to succeed in life or in the workplace! The more drama created in the workplace the better it is for enemy! Drama causes pain, suffering, confrontations, arguments, and unrest! The enemy strives in this environment. Stop him from making your work environment unbearable!
It only takes one person to change the work environment!!! That person may as well be you!
So pray at your job! Pray before, during and after after work! Put on your armour and deal with the enemy on your job. You are ready for the battle!!! Improve your work environment one person at a time!
